The PreK students recently learned all about owls. They read books about owls, discussed the body parts of owls, and moved like owls. During STEAM time, they created owls using paper plates, paper tubes, and other materials. Now they are prouder than ever to be McGown Owls!

In the 3rd grade curriculum, students embarked on an engaging journey delving into our solar system, focusing on the Sun, Moon, Earth, and various planets. Through the creation of posters and models, they visually represented their knowledge.
During this exploration, students uncovered intriguing details such as the Sun's pivotal role as the solar system's center, the Moon's phases and orbital path around Earth, and distinctive characteristics of planets such as Jupiter's Great Red Spot and Saturn's iconic rings
